ABOUT THE SPEAKER

 

Tom Smith, P.D., LMHC, NCP, FAPA, BCCP, is a licensed mental health counselor, a Doctor of Pharmacy and Board Certified Clinical Psychotherapist. He has presented his signature interactive workshops to thousands of healthcare professionals through the United States, topics ranging from psychopharmacology, substance abuse, chronic pain, psychotherapy and rehabilitation.

 

His extensive teaching background includes an adjunct associate professor of pharmacy at the Butler University College of Pharmacy, and lecturer at the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis School of Graduate Psychology and the University of Indianapolis Graduate School of Nursing.

 

Tom recently served 12 years on the Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Board for the State of Indiana. He maintains an active private practice in Martinsville, Indiana, where he works with clients from cradle to grave.
